I'm Not So Good At This Whole "Blogging" Thing

I forgot to post! And then I forgot my password! Oh, silly me!

Christmas was lovely, so lovely. I was really hoping that I would be able to tell Mr. Lovely Husband that for Christmas he was getting a baby, but that didn't pan out. Although I had a very exciting day when I thought it would.

That's it for now, I just wanted to say that I'm still alive.

MarySue--

I just wanted to let you know that, in the context of marriage, you're SUPPOSED to enjoy it. See the Song of Solomon for example. Between a man and a wife it is supposed to be lovely and enjoyable. When you're 60 and no longer able to procreate, you're still going to be able to enjoy it because he is your husband, and no woman can satisfy him the way you can. God intended for us to enjoy it in the context of marriage, so if you do-- GREAT! (I wouldn't say it if scripture didn't back me up :) ).

"How beautiful and how delightful you are, My love, with all your charms! "Your stature is like a palm tree, And your breasts are like its clusters. "I said, ‘I will climb the palm tree, I will take hold of its fruit stalks.’ Oh, may your breasts be like clusters of the vine, And the fragrance of your breath like apples, " (Song of Solomon 7:6-8)

"A garden locked is my sister, my bride, A rock garden locked, a spring sealed up. ... Awake, O north wind, And come, wind of the south; Make my garden breathe out fragrance, Let its spices be wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden And eat its choice fruits!" (Song of Solomon 4:12,16)

(In that second one, Solomon was talking about a very CHOICE part of a woman's body.)

3The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. 5Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. (1 Corinthians 7:3-5)

Church may teach you that you shouldn't enjoy it, but really, God intended that "Two would become one" (somewhere in Genesis)-- not just for procreation, but to provide a protection against lust and to enjoy one another!

Feel free to delete this if you like at any time if you don't want it just "out there"!
